Ultimately this was one of the beers I would've liked to share with someone. I bought this in last December, but couldn't ever find an occasion to drink it since I was always working on weekends. And now that I'm not, the virus prevents any beer hipster gatherings. That's too bad. Now I'm not the biggest Tonka fan, but I hope this will introduce me to it more. Scent has tonka and coffee. Taste is sweet-ish with lot of coffee, tonka and dark chocolate. Seems quite balanced as tonka doesn't dominate too much. It's like liquid scho-ka-kola. Though there's a lot of cinnamon/Coca-Cola flavour in finish. Body is semi-thick and very smooth, creamy to some extent. Enjoyable slow sipper with enough tonka.

Vahva kanelinen tonkapapu. Hieman makea.

Linnunmaitoa. Vaniljaa, kahvia, kai sitten sitä tonkapapuakin. Ei minulla kyllä ole aavistustakaan miltä tonkapapu maistuu.

Viel hilft nicht immer viel. Schwarz wie die Nacht mit wenig Schaumbildung. Ich rieche Mandel bzw. Marzipan und vertraue darauf, dass es keine Blausäure ist. Im Mund bleibt das Imperial Stout dann ein diffuses Geschmackserlebnis. Ich sollte Kaffee- und Kakaoaromen schmecken aber alles scheint sich so zu überlagern, dass nur noch eine alkoholische Süße herauszuschmecken ist. Aus der Dose.
