Had this beer 3 years ago, time to try it again. Spicy aroma, super dark color but not opaque. Flavor delivers a spice, and a toasted bread. Some deep malt with caramel sweetness follows. Finish comes across with a touch of bitterness and somewhat dry. Not as impressed as I was in 2019. Seemed a little above average but the spices never really gave the winter time flavor that I remembered.

This Bock has a full high head that does not last. Color is a beautiful reddish Amber, not totally clear. Flavor has a spicy note to it, but not too strong. Light and refreshing. The finish is quick and very dry. Not bitter and not sweet. Very good Bock.
