Ensimmäinen De Molenin tuotos meikämandariinille, voihan vahakorkki. Mustaa stouttia nopsaan haihtuvalla vaahdolla, lasin reunaan jää kaunis pitsi. Tuoksussa reilusti kookosta, yllätyin jopa sen vahvuudesta. Vienosti kahvia ja suklaata. Suutuntuma keskitäyteläinen, kovahkot hiilihapot. Maussa päällimmäisenä kookos, sitten tummahkoa makeaa mallasta, kahvisia nuotteja ja pitkään suussa viipyilevä jälkimaku. Humalointi kiristelee kurkunperällä mukavasti. Alkoholi maistuu lämmetessä vähän turhan paljon läpi. Vähän oisin pehmeyttä kaivannut lisää myös. Aika hauska tämä kookoustoutin konsepti. De Molenin oluita tulee varmasti ostettua jatkossakin.

I haven't had any mindblowing beers on my order from De Bierliefhebber, although the Ten fidy was brilliant! But maybe this would be something specktacula? Bottle. Bottled on: 20.3.2019 Temperature: +12 degrees Almost black beer with creamy, tan color head. The foam has average retention, breaking down at the middle: 4/5 Nose has indeed strong coconut (like a Malibu liquor) and creamy notes. Also salted licorise, chocolate, mudcake and rum. Faint coffee. Nice aromas, really heavy scent lets you know this might be slow sipping beer: 4,25/5 Mouthfeel is medium-full with oily/surupy texture. Barrel aging gives lovely woody dry feel. Bitterness is balanced but noticebly. Very nice: 4,5/5 Taste: creamy sweet, coconut, chocolate (like a Bounty bar), rum like alcohol, medium roasted coffee, salted licorise... Again, very dessert like and indeed slow sipping. Complex flavours, multilayered. But that something is missing🤔12,75/15 Lovely beer. Very good and tasty but somethings not quite in place, you know. Not sure what to think, I like it but still not sure if Im going to remember it after a few days. It's like a woman you might meet at the bar: 15,75/20 =41,25/50
