Erstaunlich bitter für nen Weizen.

I got a troublesome pour from this bottle, excessive foam filled the glass and I had to stick a finger in to stop it. Otherwise it gave a body of semit transparent, golden amber with moderate carbonation up the sides of the glass. The scent is typical weiss, wheat, banana, coriander seed and some pepper at the end. Medium bodied beer with a mild bite at the beginning, which is quickly washed away for the overwhelmingly foamy body. Taste is upfront a collision of banana and wheat. A syrupy sweetness follows but I can't be sure where it originated from...its like the banana note, with a caramel malt. This morphs into salty cracker while the coriander and pepper circle in and finish with a punch. The aftertaste is a contrast between the coriander, and...bubblegum of all things. The peculiar bubblegum note seems to intensify more and more the longer the aftertaste lingers. Not a great one, maybe it didn't travel well? I'll try it again if I see it.

Kevyt, raikas, sitruksinen. Oikein hyvä vehnä!
