Molasses dominates the flavors of rich, boozy strong brown beer. Really pleasant going down despite the high ABV. My only gripe is the tall boys are only filled to 440mL instead of the usual half litre.

Miam !

Reseantly I've had few really good Brown ales. I'm finally starting to like the style.
Can. Best before: 4/2023
Temperature: +9 degrees
Coffee brown beer. Large and dence beige head has an exellent retention. This is the kind of looking beer you would want to taste immediatly when you saw it. Thick laces in the glass: 5/5
Nose: sweet maltiness, dry roastiness, coffee, chocolate, bread crust and some residual sweetness. And then is the aroma that can be found in every De moersleutel beer, so lets just call it the De Moersleutel-aroma: 4,25/5
Mouthfeel is medium-full, lively smooth carbonation and drying bitterness: 4/5
Taste: chocolate, roasted coffee, bready (toasted) maltiness, some sweetness and alcohol feel... Aftertaste leans a bit for the sweeter side. Overall good flavour but doesn't really change. Just stays as it started. Only thing changing is the alcohol touch and residual sweetness getting stronger: 10,5/15
Nice American style Brown beer. Strong flavours but I wonder if the style really needs the 8% ABV? I think the residual sweetness and alcohol taste doesn't fit so well in this one: 15,5/20
