Dark amber colour. Crowned with an abundant and strong lacing head. The aroma of the Westvleteren 8 is an attractive combination of green nuts, soft fruit and a touch of caramel. The different flavours of this beer lead to a harmonious yet complex taste. One tastes the malts, as it were, up to barley husk. The aftertaste is characterised by a distinct and striking hop bitterness. Date is printed on the cap as DD.MM.YY, and indicates how long the beer will retain its properties if stored under the right conditions. This date is also the batch number.

Note - da es ja dunkel ist. 🍻 Feierabend.

Best before 2028.09.16. Caramel added to Belgian notes. Everything not too intense. With low body seems so light, in spite of 8%...
