Amber-coloured Trappist ale with a broken white head. A lovely combination of herbal, floral and fruity aromas.
La Trappe Isid’or was first brewed in 2009 on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of The Koningshoeven Brewery. The harmonious taste starts off fruity and shifts to malty caramel. A perfectly balanced ale. The ale is named after Brother Isidorus, the abbey's first brewer. The aftertaste is pleasantly bitter.

Bière avec beaucoup de goût. Forte mais l'arrière-goût n'est pas mauvais. Une vraie expérience en bouche qui m'a plu!

Wuchtige potente Schaumkrone. Leicht bräunlich dunkles Bernstein. Wunderbar schokoladig mit Dörrobst. Die hohen Umdrehungen schmeckt man gar nicht, hier war ein absoluter Meister am brauen. Ein Gebräu zum genießen und nicht zum besaufen. Das Zeug ist super und ich Ober-Vollhonk habe nur eine Flasche gekauft. Ich werde durch diesen geilen Geschmack gerade sentimental und bin richtig fett am heulen,so richtig Pippi in den Augen. Höchst empfehlenswert.
