Get your pyjamas on and let your beer belly hang out. This is what Jilly said when I asked her what she thought of this beer. It’s certainly strong and not for the faint hearted. Actually a very zesty flavourful IPA hazy golden colour with a lovely hoppy creamy head. What this is doing in Brighton as it’s from Hackney Wick I really don’t know but I am glad I came across it in the Hop in Beer and Gin House in Brecon.

I gave this a 2,4 score last time I had it from a tap in a beer bar in Chesterfield. I’m not sure what’s changed but from a can this beer is pretty darn good, as are the other HH beers I’ve had. These guys are making solid beers at the moment riding on the crest of the hazy wave quite well. This is an easy to drink low bitterness juicy ale. It’s a stand off between pine and tropical fruits. I could drink this all day!

Nothing stand out-ish. A robust IPA with a powerful bitter finish

Tuoksussa sitrusta, viljaa, greippiä, passionia ja happamuutta. Suutuntuma matalahiilihappoinen, raikas ja helposti juotava. Kirpsakka alkuun ja samettinen loppuun. Maussa sitrusta, happamuutta, makeutta, trooppisuutta, hedelmäisyyttä, mangoa, ananasta ja persikkaa. Jälkimaku aika kuiva, jossa persikkaa ja sitruunaa. On kyllä todella miellyttävä ipa!
