Ekstra Draught (5.2%) is the legendary light lager beer of Švyturys, which undergoes microfiltration rather than pasteurisation before it is bottled and therefore retains its qualities of “live” beer. The golden-brown beer stands out with its thick white foam, well-rounded flavour, rich, smooth, long-lasting taste with a slight hint of the bitterness of hops.

Korean food for a late dinner. A Helles to accompany. Clear amber beer with a subdued head. Sweet-leaning pale malt and biscuit in the air. The same cocktail on the tongue. A faint hoppy tail. Feels light, lip-glueing, bulky and industrial. Does the job, nothing more.

Strohgelb ergießt sich das gut gekühlte Bier in das bereitgestellte Glas. Das Bier ist glasklar. Es entsteht ein mittelprächtiger, teils fein, teils grobporiger Schaum. Dieser hält sich ganz gut. Zumindest bis zum ersten Schluck.
Das Bier duftet nach leicht geröstetem Malz und recht kräftig nach Hopfen.
Ich schmecke eine karamellige Note, etwas leicht gebräunten Toast und im Abgang eine ausgeglichene Hopfennote.
Ein Bier ohne Chichi! Wirklich gut trinkbar.
