je sens tout de suite le blé noir. Puis une note boisée arrive avant que l'arôme floral apporté par la lavande arrive en fin de bouche et offre une très belle longueur. Une très légère acidité a accompagné la dégustation du début à la fin

This is a wild ale from a quite new micro brewery. I was on my way to Stoom, where I had the Trillium, when I heard a lot of chatter from next the building. Nevel's shop was closed, but there was an on-going beer tasting. The brewer himself popped up, explained all the 10+ beers they had in perfect detail for me. I bought 3 and this is the first one of them. Got a few business cards and promised to mention about them to Oulu's pubs. He was very interested in shipping a keg or few to Finland. Could also ship elsewhere, I bet so other Pinters, would you kindly ask your pubs if there's need for rare wild ales? 😉 What about the beer then? Pretty amazing, I'd say. Nice, unfiltered orange color. No pictures since my phone was dead at the time 😭 Vinous, slighty tart mouthfeel. Taste is herbal with plenty of lavender and sea buckthorn being prominent, as promised. Barrel Aged for a year. Only downside is that carbonation is very homebrewey. I hope the other two bottles will survive back to Finland. Definitely worth having again!
