Tällainen kevyempi imperial porter tarttui Lontoosta mukaan heräte ostoksena. Olut kaatui lasiin tumman ruskeana, lähes mustana. Reilu moussemainen vaahto muodostui oluen pinnalle 😋 Tuoksusta tulee hienoa, todella pehmeän bourbonista aromia. Vaniljaa, tammea, tummaa sokerisuutta, tummaa limppua ja kuivattua tummaa hedelmäisyyttä. Ehkä aavistus vaahterasiirappisuutta taustalla. Oikein bueno tuoksu! 🍻 Vähän kuin Bourbon County Brand stouteissa, mutta kevyempänä. Suutuntumaltaan olut on liukkaan öljyisä ja melko kevyt. Runko on keskivahva, ollen vähän enemmän kevyempään suuntaan kallellaan. Maussa tummaa maltaisuutta, tummaa sokeria, lakritsaa, kuivattua hedelmäisyyttä, ihanan pehmeää bourbonia, tummaa limppua ja vain aavistus paahteisuutta. Tätähän voisi kiskoa isosta tuopista litrakaupalla. Oikein mainio miedompi imperial porter 👍🏻

Spices and light bourbon in the aroma. Taste has chocolate, light bourbon and subtle spices. Body is medium-ish and carbonation is medium. It's a nice porter. More time in the barrel (aged for 3 months) could help it, in my opinion. As this warms more, the bourbon is definitely more prominent and i'm also getting some vanilla. It's not special, but I am enjoying it quite a bit, so I'll rate it accordingly. 4/5

Bourbon hits the nose first. A slight bit of smokiness as well. Taste has a smooth bourbon first. Has a sweetness that I can't identify. Pretty subdued flavors, but the addition of the bourbon barrel aging helps a ton. Not the best porter I've ever had, but it is pretty good. I have 3 more that I'm gonna throw in the cellar to age. I'm torn between a 3.75 and a 4. 4/5
