Parfois il y a des mauvais choix qui sont faits. Cette bière en est un.

It's been 20 months since I was in 🇨🇭 last time! Gosh! Hard time! Second tasting of this beer. The brewpub has currently four of its own beers on tap, and I have tasted them all. The only slight difference is that this is now 5.1 %. Well, whatever... The beer is semihazy gold. Long-lived carbonation pours a white, small-bubbled head that barely grows one finger tall and descends soon to a thin lace ring. Lime is hefty in the air, obviously because the beer has lime slices floating on it... Lime is accompanied by sweet agave syrup and wheat malt. Relatively sweet agave juice dominates on the taste receptors. I can also pick a bit of agave syrup, wheat malt, biscuit and copious lime. The body is light. The end approaches fast and serves fresh orange zest, biscuit as well as diminishing lime juice. The aftertaste looks for agaves and suffers from thirst. The mouthfeel is light, juicy, a bit sappy and spritzy. I know that the added lime slices distort the flavor package seriously but this beer simply goes with lime. An "un-limed" version is nonexistent. Goes down nicely with vegetarian Flammkueche. A bit better rating now.

La palette de dégustation 5/5. Foggy, pale amber beer with faint green hue and an introvert, off-white, small-bubbled head that gradually melts down to an almost nonexistent lace ring on top. A slice of lime floats on top. Therefore, the fragrance displays powerful lime. Nothing else. The tastebuds are confused of the semisweet sugary aroma of lime zest. Is this a Radler? A tad pomelo and blood grapefruit accompany. The body is light to light-medium. The beer offers strong bitter lime with a manageable sugared twist for the finish. A bit of lemongrass and a distinct note of thyme follow the finish from a distance. The mouthfeel is light, remarkably refreshing and very summery. It's also thinly tart and significantly unbeery. Unfortunately it's difficult to say much about the beer itself as it's messed with fresh lime.
