Poured easy from the can and left a classic red ale body of deep ruby red, bordering on brown but it left very little head. Scent is red ale malt, some sweet bread, lots of caramel and a pine finish. Mouthfeel is slick with a heavy foamy finish that has slight carbonation in the finish. The taste is a lovely mash of pine sweet caramel, some dried fruit and a little spice. Nothing new by any means but a very high quality red.
