Hieman maultaan mieto ja vetinen Baltic Porter. Ominainen kahvimokan sivumaku jää kaipaamaan syvällisyyttä. Perusasiat kuitenkin kunnossa.

April 20, and it's snowing... Fabulous. 🙄. The nature is obviously giving me a sign to finish one of the winter/Christmas beers that was heavily discounted. Will do so.
Opaque, deep dark brown beer with limited carbonation creates a silky, tawny head that falls short of one finger. The retention itself is short but the dense lace ring decorates the surface for quite a long time. A fragile haze floats in the center.
Coffee, roasted malt and a pinch of lactose ascend to my nose. Not bad at all. I somehow expected a rougher experience for a Baltic Porter but this was a pleasant encounter.
Coffee dominates the gustatory sphere, as well. It's not enormous, nor overly dry either. Raw cacao bean, light-roasted malt, a hint of burned wood and orange peel escort the coffeeish master. Quite easy this side, as well.
The body is light. The end offers a similar coffeeish–roasty combination to digest. But not for a long time though. The frost, it looks like dust settled on the aftertaste after everyone's long been gone; but me, I was hidin', or forgotten, the only one left; now the beer is mine alone.
The mouthfeel is light, roasty, a bit dry and moderately drying. Uncontroversial, balanced and gluggable. Good for the ABV, excellent for the price.
