In order ro create this unique beer, Henk Oexman, innovation brewer for Heineken, travelled from the Netherlands over the North Sea to Edinburgh’s Caledonian Brewery. THis inspired interpretation of a Belgian Wit Bier is the result of a combination of Henk’s 30 years of brewing experience with over 140 years of brewing heritage at Caledonian. It is brewed with pale malt and malted wheat in the grist to give it a light body. Its refreshing characteristics are further enhanced by the addition of coriander, orange peel and the "secret ingredient" liquorice which complement the subtle hop flavour.
