Rychtář Rataj is a lager that is hopped four times. During its production a special variety of aromatic hop is used and the method of "cool hopping" is applied. It is a method in which hops are added to the beer during its maturation in the maturing cellar. The result of this process is an aroma of fresh hops, balanced flavour and full malt taste, fresh and more intensive bitterness and good flavour.
