Today was hot. Hopefully I can make a deal with the fella on the can to cool me down.
Pouring orange as the fires of hell and slightly cloudy like my judgement.
The aromas are mild but include orange, grapefruit and the slightest hint of tropical fruit. Also a touch of caramel malt.
The mouthfeel is creamy and soft as if it had been brewed with oats.
I do not like bashing beers but this is quite a let down. It tastes fine but it is neither bitter nor juicy. It does have a muddled fruit flavour and is balanced against a nice malty base but doesn't hardly seem like an IPA let alone a double IPA. Mildly boozy but not unpleasant. It's actually a good beer just not really to style. Would normally be a 4 star but just 3 as a double ipa.
