I love a good porter or stout. Unfortunately this is not one of them. It has light roasted malt that made its presence more known when it warmed. I smell more chocolate than I taste. Has some very, very light coffee that tastes like when you have a cup of coffee at a diner with watery cheap coffee.
I’m sure I’ve had worse porters but this has to be towards the bottom of the list. What makes it worse is I had an excellent one before this.

Ok. I got ripped off. This was absolutely disgusting. You can see it foamed up when I opened it. It has a disgusting taste. When I look at the bottom of the can it has a 1/14/21 date on it. Obviously way past it’s date and it tastes so. This was a drain pour in which I still have a couple more which will also end up as drain pours (got a 4 pack).
I bought it for the name. From now on I’ll be looking at the dates on the cans
What a waste of $17

This was a wonderfully refreshing find on a humid day. Hoppy with nice bitter bite afterwards. Very refreshing. An all day beer!
