In Kalispell Montana enjoying the fourth beer on a flight of four at Kalispell Brewing Company. Always save the stout for last. The expected opaque brown color, has almost no aroma. Quickly shows a charred malt, bitter with only a hint of sweet. Finish continues with a charred oak, even though it's not from a barrel. Finish leaves no sweetness, only a sharp mouthfill bitterness with even the char disappearing. I love stouts, and I love the name Snowslip Stout, but this really didn't work for me.

In Kalispell Montana enjoying the local beer at Kalispell Brewing Company. This is the third beer on a flight of four but they gave me last call so I ordered a full-size dunkle. Had a small somewhat yellow head to start. Deep reddish amber in color and totally clear. Malty aroma. Flavor is mild, lightly roasted malt. Has a hint of sweetness. Finish transitions to a light toasted malt and faintly dry. Nicely balanced. Very drinkable beer. Came back with a pint of this.

At Kalispell Brewing Company in Kalispell Montana. Having the second beer on a flight of four. Light yellow in color and surprisingly, it's a little hazy. Not much carbonation but it does have good flavor. Honey notes of sweetness followed by equally small amounts of bitterness during the finish. Wasn't expecting much from this but it's actually pretty good.

Citrus flavor leaning toward grapefruit. Has some bitterness closest to a pine. Better quality intensifies during the finish. A little below average.
