Backlog from April 11th Sweet cream aroma. Taste has a lot less sweetness than the aroma has. Definitely tastes like a cream filled doughnut. 4/5

The lady who posed for the picture on the can died the other day, so I'm having this in her honor. Cinnamon, vanilla and maple syrup in the aroma. A little bit of whiskey as well. Taste has vanilla, cinnamon, maple syrup, whiskey and oak, in that order. Oak and maple syrup linger in the aftertaste. Excellent French Toast stout with an incredible balance among the flavors. Nothing overwhelms. I hope, despite her death, they continue to brew this. According to her family, she wasn't one for condolences, so I'll offer none, but I will continue to enjoy this beer each time I have it. High 4.25/5

Doing a side by side review with cinna-mom to compare. Taste has bourbon first, followed by maple syrup, vanilla, oak, cinnamon and roasted malts. It's pretty cool that they were able to get the bourbon and oak in this without losing the other flavors. If you follow my reviews, you know that I'm a firm believer that (almost) all stouts are improved by spending time in a bourbon barrel. This one is definitely no exception to this belief. They took an excellent stout and made it into an outstanding bourbon barrel aged stout. 4.5/5

Trying this alongside cinna-gram to compare. Taste has good maple syrup, some cinnamon, vanilla and roasted malts. Delicious stout. Has everything it promises to have. Well done. One I will continue to drink as long as they continue to make it. 4.25/5

Chocolate notes in the aroma. Taste has much of the same. Some chocolate notes, the malts used come through. Tasty and worth a try if you're into Irish stouts. Enjoyable. 3.5/5
