Barrel Aged Advent Calendar Day #10 Canned on 11-30-2022 Coffee in the aroma. Taste has coffee first, followed by maple syrup and bourbon. Beyond this, I'm getting oak, roasted malts and some light chocolate notes. The coffee doesn't seem as prominent as it was 2 years ago, but that's expected. All of the advertised flavors are there, albeit to a lesser extent. Coffee and bourbon linger in the aftertaste. The body is medium-full with a lower amount of carbonation. This one is best fresh, but is still enjoyable. High 4.25/5

Decent lager that goes well with Mexican tacos. Noticed a hint of cayenne pepper in the aftertaste — delightful! Made me yearn for more corn chips made in Southwest Detroit!

Although I keep forgetting to roll the can before I pour (LOL), I enjoy this. Not as exciting to my palate as M-43, but close.

Chocolate and coconut in the aroma. Taste has chocolate and coconut up front with lactose following. Roasted malts keep the sweetness in check. The body is medium-full, bordering on full bodied with a medium-low amount of carbonation. Solid 4.25/5

Backlog from December 10th Maple syrup slaps you in the face in the aroma. Taste has maple syrup, coffee and a hint of roasted malts. Maple syrup lingers in the aftertaste. The body is full and the carbonation is appropriately low. I really wish this brewery was closer. 4.5/5
