Actually had it yesterday (22.08.2026). A decent drink with a nice roasted malt aroma. Creamy mouthfeel with a nice malty taste mixed with subtle fruitiness. Slightly bitter finish, as expected, but enjoyable. Smooth and easy-drinking session ale.

Went in for a different drink, High Tide by St. Austell brewery, but that was no longer available so I plumpted for this instead. A good old-fashioned bitter: a malty aroma, as expected; malty taste with a subtle caramel-like sweetness mixed in; subtle hoppy taste leading to an enjoyable bitterness to finish. Very smooth and easy-drinking session ale.

Another retry, but here goes. It's still a decent drink, but nothing special now. It has the same profile as before. It's still a good session ale that's totally quaffable, but it seems to get worse every time I try it, which is why I gave it a lower rating.
