Brought this Arkansas beer back from Texas. A gift from a good friend.
Whoa! I was not ready for that head to be so tall. Stopped just in time to prevent an overflow. It has a medium yellow color and a light misty haze. Waiting for the head to dissipate and it refuses. Looks like the meringue on a pie. Texture has the clean crispness that you want from a lager. Flavor has a sweet natural grain that delivers, for me, a distinct lemon characteristic. I am pleased that it retained a nice carbonation that wasn't expelled during the pour. Finish develops some soft sour notes. A lagers purpose is to sit back and just have a cold one. I think this one was successful.

Having beer #800 with my sister at Whiskey River Ranch, and my niece that is from Arkansas. She brought me a few good Arkansas beers to try, this one from Ozark Beer Company.
Moderate tan head, color is brown and opaque. Thin and light texture, makes this very drinkable. Dry, bitter and somewhat sweet all at the same time. Strong dark malt, roasted coffee. Finish has dry roasted coffee and is brief.
