Been saving this one since Blue Pants Brewery closed down. Time to give it a try. Poured down the middle of the glass and still not much head. Totally gone in less than 30 seconds. Nearly opaque brown color. Faint chocolate aroma. Texture is thin and light, a bit watery. As expected, no carbonation detectable. Flavor is a weak chocolate and not sweet. Finish is flat and slightly bitter. I love porters and stouts but, for me, this one totally missed the mark.

Pours with very little head. Copper amber color, slightly hazy. No aroma that I can tell. Very mild Amber flavor. A little bitter and very little flavor. Very watery and flat. They really missed it on this one.

This is the fourth in tonight's Oktoberfest tasting. It's from Blue Pants Brewery which has now gone out of business. There will be never be another of these to try. Pours with a very high head but it totally disappears quickly. Color is deep yellow and clear. No red or orange amber color to it. Very very faint aroma. Very little flavor, no real punch to it. Malty but not much better than flavored water. Understand now why they had a hard time staying in business. Brutal to lose a good brewery but their beer just doesn't measure up.

Super high thick head. Lasts. Orangish color, a bit hazy. Strong citrus, bitter flavor. Bitter finish.
