Citrusy but very smooth. One of my favorite DIPA beers. Usually have on tap at home.

Happy Friday. This has a fruity taste that leans towards melon, pineapple and very light grapefruit. Slightly dank. Has some light piney resin. Hoppy bitterness is medium. Has a light semi sweet malt background.
Overall this one is excellent.

Had to do a re-review as my last one was in 2017 in my beginning days. I looked up out of curiosity. Shocked I didn’t rate higher.
This has pine with grapefruit and light tropical fruit. Has a light dankness. Medium + hoppy bitterness. Has a very light malt background.
Overall I don’t think I appreciated hoppy beers as much as I do now.

At first you get cinnamon but that fades a bit. You then pick up the rye whisky (Bulleit), vanilla and a touch of some oak. It’s mostly malty that has some toasted bread to it. It’s sweet but the cinnamon gives it some spice. The cinnamon also appears a little stronger as you finish.
Overall it’s a nice BBL done with a doppelbock style.
