Canopy Beer Co
England
chevron_leftchevron_right
Herne Hill is known for its venerable velodrome, so it's appropriate that one of the first beers Canopy made when they opened in late 2014 was an 1891 IPA, to celebrate the famous track. At 4.6 per cent ABV, the beer is probably not as strong as most pale ales would have been then, but the focus at Canopy appears to be on drink-ability. The other three launch beers have that same quality: a wheat beer, an amber ale and an IPA, none of them nosing through the 6 per cent barrier. Look out for their beers all over south-central London and further afield.

It’s a bit bland. A fizzy slightly sweet beer, with a tiny bit of toast on the finish

Lovely combination of fruit and bitter flavours, with a citrus peel finish to it.
Great accompaniment to the football I’m watching
