Twickenham Fine Ales
England
chevron_leftchevron_right
Twickenham is, it must be said, one of the capital’s more staid suburbs (few of them are exactly rocking) but it does have something going for it: an excellent local brewery. Twickenham’s approach is more traditional than many of Londoner’s newer brewers but the same care and attention to detail is present. Expect a classic balance of malt and both domestically and internationally sourced hops. Light and refreshing Sundancer, for example, would be the perfect drink for a sunny afternoon spent in a pub garden in, well, Twickenham, of course.

It’s fairly average, moving towards sub-par! Slightly hoppy, but rather bland. The citrus notes are bordering on chloriny!

Billed as a Strong Mild but more of a smooth Stout or perhaps Porter really. It has a chocolate malt body & a very slight citrus twist going on. Easy drinking at 4.6%

Refreshing Golden Ale with a citrus hop flavour & a reasonably bitter finish. Just about right for a sunny, warm day

Breakfast cereal in a glass, the 4 grains are barley, wheat, rye & oats. Pioneer hops give this Golden Ale a delicate spice on the tongue & a slightly dry finish. 3.8 score for experimentation!

Pale ale with American azacca hops producing tropical flavours & German Polaris giving a spicy bitter bite to this refreshing brew
