Hoppy holiday ale. Great Lakes Christmas Ale still the favorite holiday ale for me

Then some nutty and stone fruit notes develop. .8
Milk chocolate hints in the aftertaste. .8
Overall that's an original beer with very good hints and aromas. It's pretty balanced and nicely developed. .9

I once had a strawberries and cream ale from a local brewery that has since closed down and I've been questing for something similar ever since. This is definitely better than some other strawberry cream ales I've tried, but ultimately it falls flat.
For a cream ale, it is very light on the palette. It's lacking the fullness and richness that I'd like to taste. The strawberry flavor is also very minimal. It's lacking the tangy, creamy, and sweet notes that one would expect from a beer like this. On its own it's pretty fine, but definitely not what you would expect from the label.

The chocolate leads the way but the blackberry charges right behind. Then, the sneaky chocolate comes back around to finish.

Vraiment bon!

Truth in labeling, chocolatey with a cherry flavor interwoven throughout. Little light in mouthfeel but not to the level of watery.
