Flight 5/5. Semihazy, deep orange beer. Looks like mandarin juice. The cap is bright white and silky. The olfactory supply is fruity and sweet-leaning: canned mandarin, cantaloupe and biscuit. The tastebuds like canned mandarin, melon peel, biscuit, grass and a wink of resin. Tries to be old-school but isn't really successful. The mouthfeel is light to light-medium, dry, drying, crisp and zesty. Relatively characterless though.

Flight 2/5. Lucid, deep copper beer. A cloud-white, velvety lace ring. The scent offers aromas that I didn't anticipate of an Altbier: caramel, candy and strawberry mash. The tongue receives caramel, black tea, faint raisin, orange and a hint of resin. The sensation is light-medium, smooth, tea-like and slightly drying. Off the beaten track.
