Flight 4/4 displays muddy, deep dark brown appearance. A velvety, pale fawn lace ring is left behind. The olfactory provision is composed of coffee, roasted malt, lactose and cream. The gustatory components include coffee and roasted malt but not the sweet flavors. Instead, I'm getting a bit of ash, tobacco leaf and a suggestion of wood. The mouthfeel is light, roasty, somewhat dry and drying. Not complex but not straightforward either.

Flight 3/4 wears a hazy, blood orange juice colored gown. A truly subdued ring only. Copious clementine emanates to my nostrils. Nice! A medley of sweet and sour aromas. Clementine is ample also on the tastebuds. Very juicy, indeed! Salt in the background. And wheat in the basement. The sensation is light, juicy, tropical and pulpy. Simple but inviting!

Flight 2/4 shows a relatively lucid, gold complexion. A messy billowy lace ring on the top. A hint of citrus in the air, otherwise it's numb. Okay? The tongue receives moderate grapefruit zest, orange peel, modest malt. Fruity. Light and pithy. Characterless, this one, too.

A flight of four @ Kilomètre Zéro. Oh yes! Flight 1/4 is dressed in transparent copper. A creamy lacing adorns the surface. Sweet biscuit, dried apricot and [...] strawberry in the scent. Hmmm... interesting. Biscuit, dough, apricot and a bit of mandarin in the palate. And a whisper of strawberry. Feels light, soft, smooth and gulpable. Very easy. Too easy for a WCIPA. Characterless?
