Past post from last Sunday. In Arkansas, for a Saturday wedding. Of course, Ryan and I are going to some more breweries. This is today's second brewery, Rendezvous Junction Brewing Company. We enjoyed the flight of 6 and we're so happy we decided to get crazy and try a sour.
This is key lime pie, a flavor I love so why not. This started out exactly like a key lime pie, even had some graham cracker in it. And then it turned a little artificial toward the end. We should have left on that 4.8 Butt Slap Imperial Stout.

Last beer on a flight of six.
Butt Slap. What a name. This still maintained a small head long after the pour. Soft malt, deep dark European chocolate. Sweet dark sugar in the background. Velvet in the mouth. Best beer in Bentonville Arkansas. And the best brewery we visited.
ππ After posting this, I noticed that this is number 1900. Yippee! π»π€ͺπ

Filth beer on a flight of six.
Head on the glass coats it around the rim. Aroma of vanilla, cream, confectionary sugar. Mild start. Coffee, some dark cocoa chocolate, dry. Pretty good.

Fourth beer on a flight of 6.
This onyx coffee version is even better than the previous one. The dark bittersweet chocolate is balanced with the coffee. Some hop in the background. This is fantastic.

Third beer on this flight of six.
Quickly, before I even swallowed, this is the best beer yet. Sweet malt, gentle from the nitro, lightly roasted malt. Notes of coffee and caramel with a little vanilla and chocolate hiding in the background. Still ends with the mild bitterness in the finish which must be from the water profile of this area. Best yet.

Second beer on this flight of six.
Sweet amber malt. Toasted biscuits. Slides gently into the finish. This is drinkable beer. A little bite in the finish. Starting to feel like there may be some real craft in this Craft Brewery.

Past post from last Sunday. In Arkansas, for a Saturday wedding. Of course, Ryan and I are going to some more breweries. We brought my nephew and his wife with us today. This is today's second brewery, Rendezvous Junction Brewing Company. This time Ryan and I are sharing a flight of six. None are on this website, so some may be short reviews.
First beer on a flight of six. Aroma has the peach and the cream in it. Soft texture, color is totally clear deep yellow with a touch of orange. Flavor is probably artificial but handled in a correct manner that it's not obvious. No metallic flavor at all. Sweet cream in the front. Turns tart in the finish which I feel like it was unnecessary. A tiny dry in the finish.
