Definitely a velvety smooth oatmeal stout. Easy to drink, warming on a blustery day, but a touch sweet for my taste.

Sweet malty aroma that reminds me of apple, with hints of yeasty esters, caramel and of coarse alcohol. Smooth creamy mouthfeel warms the tongue and heart with a big boozy taste. Grainy and caramel malt flavours with yeast esters like banana and apricot. Big tasty beer.

A solid oatmeal stout, but it didn't stand out particularly. There are more interesting and flavourful stouts being made here in BC, let alone elsewhere in the world.
