Our last beer-share of the night with my son with our out-of-town beers. Another one from Kansas City and this is a triple IPA with both oats and wheat. Going to be unusual.
Looks like a tequila sunrise with its orange and yellow coloring. Very hazy but no particulars. Aroma is distinctly grapefruit with some non-citrus tropical fruit. Both light and tart. Has a pithy bitterness coming from grapefruit and a flashy fruit such as guava. Tropical flavors continue through the finish without any transition.
I've had better IPAs and this would probably be better sitting on a kayak or beside a pool. But it's probably still better than average for me.

Still at my son's having another Kansas City beer. This is an IPA which is much more his style than mine.
Moderate white head, color looks like a grapefruit juice slushy. Aroma brings grapefruit and pine tree. Flavor has moderate intensity with a light and crisp texture. Quickly hits with both sour and bitter grapefruit peel. There is no transition into a finish, consistent from first to last.
I have been developing a modest taste for IPAs. Citrus and moderate bitterness is what I prefer. This flavor is not pleasant to me and glad I'm only having half a glass.
