Has your traditional oatmeal stout taste with some dark roasted malt, slight charring, light dark chocolate and an oaky wood taste (that’s a little different). Slightly dry with a light bitterness. Overall this is the better of the stouts I had tonight. Given this is only a 3.6 I have to say my other stouts were not great ones tonight. Although this one is more of traditional type of stout giving it a step up since I gravitate that way. I love that it is “stout” season. Although they are still not as easy to find given the IPA craze. Now I’m going to crack some really gooood ones now but they are already reviewed.
