The lovely rich flavors of dried fruit, chocolate and coffee make this a complex and oh so smooth porter. Really glad I came across this one!

Deep brown color, strong dark fruit aroma. Texture is not oatmeal stout. Crisp, clean mouthfeel is more like a porter. Flavor is all dark fruit, a puree of dates, raisins, and plums. Plums are the strongest of all. Very smooth and fruity sweet. Finish glides with a blend of all three. This is a pretty good beer but they totally missed on style and description. No oatmeal qualities, not really a stout, no milk chocolate. Damn. Are they drinking the same beer? Good beer, bad everything else.
