Still next door to Whiskey River Ranch having another beer review party.
No way to comment on the appearance of the beer's color or head. Strong citrus hop aroma. Intense flavor of mango, tangerine, oranges. Bitterness level on the high end for me. Pretty good flavor. IPA lovers will enjoy this more than me.

Here at Whiskey River Ranch for SOTS 2023 having an Austin Texas beer. Sadly, another Craft Brewery has closed. Aquabrew is no more. Second day is our cook day, so probably no time to rate another beer. Tomorrow will be different.
Enjoying directly from the can as is our tradition. Normally only Lonestar is allowed but if it's a Texas beer, exceptions are tolerated. This one's I actually a decent blonde. On a hot day, on the deck with friends while cooking for 76 people, it's very good.

At the 2021 San Antonio Beer Festival with my son-in-law. No review. Just enjoying their beer.

Enjoying a beer with CJ, the brewmaster at AquaBrew Brewing. Nice guy and an interesting brewery. Having an 8% amber beer.
Very high frothy head that they had to keep pouring off. Served in a sniffer glass which was nice. Clear light orange color. Creamy texture. Taste is alcohol forward, seems stronger than 8%. Amber flavor comes in the middle and continues through the finish. Mild on the bitterness level.
This is a good amber beer but maybe too strong as a sit-down and drinkable beer. Couple of these is enough. First amber that needs to be sipped.

Working hard to get Whiskey River Ranch ready for this weekend's SOTS reunion. This San Marcos Brewery is one I have never tried before.
Nice fluffy white head. Deep yellow clear color. Malty citrus aroma. Very creamy and smooth texture. Not much carbonation. The 95 IBUs shows the bitterness correctly. Little too bitter for my taste but it trails off quickly. The mild grapefruit flavor is good. Very refreshing on a beautiful Texas afternoon.
