Nutty, malty. Lovely smooth finish. Nice!

Decent drink with a nice malty aroma. Surprisingly creamy, given the JDW curse, with a nice malty taste and a subtle hoppy note mixed with a slight dark chocolate bitterness. Slightly sweet finish, balanced out with a nice bitter aftertaste. An enjoyable drink and a good session ale that's very easy-drinking. Overall, malty, smooth, and easy-drinking session ale.

JDW version, very thin, mild maltiness. It's ok but definitely no second one.

Packed with sultanas and raisins but old fashioned bitter. Oddly more-ish.
