Oddity Brewing

chevron_leftchevron_right
Oddity Brewing represents that restless feeling of curiosity that keeps us moving and our love for coherence. We have never had a better feeling about the time and place we live in, where the singular and different can turn oddity into a distinguished quality. It’s the time to express our visions viscerally in the way it deserves. Doing what we love to do: soft spoken hoppy beers and dark ales, self-living sours and wild ales.

Tricky pour gave me a tonne of foam as the picture shows. Otherwise a nice pale yellow body with a heavy, juicy looking haze. Aromas of peach and melon dominate at first before the light mango and mild pine start to surface. The longer it is exposed to the air, the more intense it gets, like a fermented funk that gets funkier every minute.
The mouthfeel is very nice, medium bodied with a slight crisp and moderate carbonation. At first that is. Just like the scent has changed the longer it is open, the Mouthfeel does too. The longer it is open, the Mouthfeel becomes softer and juicier, not explicitly flat.
Taste is fantastic, first hit is a strong dose of sweet biscuit malt and pine resin. Sweet juicy flavours come next starting with mild mango before the melon and peach crash in and overtake everything else.
Very unassuming looking ipa that turns out to be a sleeper hit.
