And one for the road. Muddy, deep plum brown beer with a purple tint. The head is considerably oppressed, soapy with medium-sized bubbles. Plum, dark caramel and syrup in the air. Basically promising... But when I sip the beer, a big disappointment overwhelms me. The tastebuds receive only thin flavors, especially roasted malt, bitter raw aniseed, coffee, black tea, remote tobacco and intense grass. Relatively demanding. The body is thin. The mouthfeel is therefore also thin, it's also roasty, even marginally burned, dry, drying and moderately crisp. Definitely not a winner in my contest.
