Too sweet.

A one-off collaboration with two award winning Homebrewers from the Kupla Movement for Good Beer online forum (forums.kupla.lv) Only 30 litres of this was and will, ever be made, I love that! Assertive bitterness, quite high carbonation and a caramel biscuit backbone. Really fruity, with orange and citrus, hints of pine and some earthiness. Not a style I get to drink much of but I’m glad I had this one!

Clearing the backlog from last weekend’s visit to Rīga. Latvian style gingerbreads in liquid form. Chewy too with lots of body. I’m really loving fruity herbal dark beers at the moment, and I think the best I’ve tried have all been in LV 🇱🇻

New brewery for me. Seem similar to Labietis in style. Starting with a mead IPA (braggot). Lots of honey, smooth… citrus notes come through… nice
