Hop Monger is a very good beer. The double is very disappointing. Regular is 7.1 %. Double is only 8.4%. It’s like they took the regular and just dumped booze in it. I don’t know how a 1.3% jump did this but it did. It kind of follows the regular review but just really boozy with the burn and loses some of the fruity taste. Tolerable but far from the regular. Regular review: Fruity that leans mainly towards passion fruit with light pineapple, mango & grapefruit. A hint of pine. Has a light + hoppy bitterness. Regular Hop Monger and Necteron Hop Monger were very good.

2nd Hop Monger series. This has a nectarine, peach, light pineapple that’s all kind of tangy. Has a light+ hoppy bitterness. Very tasty. Every time when they list Nectaron hops I always pick up nectarine. I don’t know if it is a subliminal thing? Or is it really nectarine? It did seem to fade as I get further in at least with this one.

Happy Friday. This is a little juicy that leans towards lemon, peach and light mango. Has a medium bitterness. It tastes like an IPA. You wouldn’t know the difference. Doing a Hop Monger night. Regular Hop Monger has already been reviewed. These are from a variety pack.

Happy St.Patrick’s Day 🍀☘️🇮🇪. This is an interesting beer. It has an Irish potato like taste that is coconut, light cinnamon with some really light coffee and vanilla bean. The beer is quite sweet but expected. A nice novelty beer. Congrats to Ireland 🇮🇪 for winning the Six Nations 2 years in a row. The France vs England game yesterday was an awesome game to end it. It’s my favorite rugby tournament to watch. 🏉🏉 Onto my Irish beers (real ones - usual suspects). Hey - no sticker for St Patrick’s Day. What’s going on????

This is a little different. At first, you get some light coffee but then the gingerbread taste kicks in. And that is for each and every sip. Pretty decent.

This has dark roasted malts, bitter bakers chocolate, dark stone fruit that leans towards cherry. Has some creamy sweetness to it. Overall a nice local that I’d love to try at the brewery someday.

Very IPA like. Fruity and tropical that leans towards melon mainly with some light passion fruit. Has a light hoppy bitterness. Finishes just a little dry.

Happy New Year to all. Has a dank pine taste with some citrus that leans towards orange with just a touch of lemon. Hoppy bitterness is light. Has some light caramel malt to it. Finishes dry. Overall a nice tasty local.

A local that is usually good. This is not their best offering. Starts a bit sweet, with hints of apple, but that fades a bit. Then the hops kick in that are a bit earthy. It’s okay and drinkable but nothing great.

I’m kind of going back & forth on this one. It’s juicy but also very sweet. Some sips are more juicy. Some are just sweet. Has candied orange with some cantaloupe, lime & berry. The candied orange, which is most dominant, is very sugary. The rest adds a nice juicy aspect to it. It just jumps back and forth. Not a lot of a hoppy bite or any malt to it. It does leave my mouth a little dry at the end.
