Very dark colour with reddish reflects. Small head. Low carbonatation. The smell has beautiful Coffee and roasted cereal notes. .9 The attack has coffee and sweet notes. .9 Then we have some dark fruit aromas. We still have the coffee and toasted notes. .9 The aftertaste is pretty sweet with nice spicy notes, particularly nutmeg. .9 Overall that's a complex beer, that keeps its promises of roasty malt flavours and a bit of sweetness. The beer is well balanced between the sweetness and the bitterness throughout the degustation. Great stout! 1

Got some gushing when I opened it... However it's not super carbonated. Nice amber gold color with a little hazyness. The smell is piney with hints of honey and apricot. We also have dark fruit notes. Great! .9 Fruity attack with citrus notes as well as honey aromas. .9 Then a nice bitterness develops and offers a broad palette of notes. We have honey, apricot, citrus and a bit of woody aromas. That's a nice development. .9 The aftertaste has apricot and dark fruit features. We have a nice developing bitterness. We also have honey and cedar notes. That's a very rich aftertaste. 1 Overall that's a wonderful beer, exactly what we expect from a west coast IPA. This beer keeps its promises and offers us a nice palette of aromas. Good beer! .9

I thought this was a regular lager going by the can. As you can see it’s an amber. Just ruined todays theme. Oh well. Good thing is it is really good. Has a sweet caramel malt. Add in some light dark berry that leans towards blackberry and black currant to compliment it. If you are looking for hops you are not going to get them. (Well there is some there but way in the background). Overall it is a very nice malty amber.
