Interesting ale with sweet toffee taste. Could be stronger. Full of character and good pair with light food.

👁 tiefschwarz; mittelporiger Schaum
👃🏻 dunkle Röstmalze, Milchkaffee
👄 Im ersten Moment wirkt es etwas flach, dann aber entwickelt sich eine schöne Aromenvielfalt: Intensive Röstmalze dominieren, gemeinsam mit einer unterschwellig laufenden Säure ergibt das das Bild schwarzen Filterkaffees, die Milch ist nur in der Nase angekommen.
Zwischendrin blitzen leichte Raucharomen auf. Kein Vergleich (zum Glück 😉) zu richtigen Rauchbieren, aber bemerkbar
Ganz zum Ende hin, wenn vor allem die gemäßigte Herbe ausläuft, kommt ein Hauch Zartbitterschokolade nebst typischer Süße auf.
