A decent, traditional golden bitter ale. Quite an old-school beer.

A nice quaffable ale

A refreshing golden ale with lemon, citrus, floral and tropical fruits on the nose. The Fuggles hops give a warm earthy spiciness. A medium bitterness is balanced with biscuit and caramel flavours from the Maris Otter malts.

Brewed with the finest English malts and Fuggles hops, this beer gives a distinctive and assertive hop character, balanced with a fruity palate and a malty finish. Has a great mix of flavours ranging from toffee, caramel and biscuit malt with a nice hoppy aftertaste. Not bad for a session bitter.

A classic Northern Brown Ale that is dark in colour and low in bitterness. The malt and nutty flavours are evident, with a slight clove and lightly bittered finish from First Gold and Goldings British hops. Not a bad session beer overall.

A bitter after taste

This is more like it. A nice hoppy golden ale. And so ends the latest Wednesday collection.

Bottle-500ml. Nice. A pretty decent Golden Ale. This was the first time drank and it was in July 2025.
