Happy Friday. This is kind of sweet that has candied orange mainly with some hints of mango. Light bitterness. Has barely a hint of pine. Has very light sweet biscuity malt background. Has a little alcohol burn to it.
It’s a little sweet for me but still a pretty decent DIPA. Kind of west coast-ish in a new style kind of way.
Packaged 4/9/25.

Not very carbonated. Nice cerealy smell. Very refreshing. Good wheaty cerealy aromas. Nice bitterness. Aftertaste is citrusy and bitter. Very refreshing and enjoyable.

So I said yesterday I’d re-review this as I think my previous beer kind of skewed me. So I’m doing a double up to make sure I get a true tasting.
The fruit was basically the same but I’m getting more citrus that is grapefruit, tangerine/orange and light lemon. The tangerine/orange seems to give a little tangy taste to it. The passionfruit and pineapple seem a little more subtle this time around. It is a little sweet/candied but not nearly as extreme as last night. It was hoppy at a light level more consistently. It is a little dry in the finish. I even picked up a little malt but that was the first can and that faded quick.
I was going to do a can by can review but it is literally 100 degree’s out. (37.778 in C). They went down a little quick.
Definitely better today. Was at a 3.4/3.5 level. I wasn’t generous today. I’m too damn hot!!! 🔥🥵🌡️

This is strange tasting. It has a passion fruit, tangerine/orange, pineapple and some citrus that is like a lemon grapefruit mixture. Has an artificial taste to it and is a bit candied. Hoppy bitterness started barely very light and improved to barely light.
There is just something off to this. I have 2 more and will give it a day to see if I see a difference.
Canned 4/10/25.

This is an American pale wheat beer. I’m not sure if it should be considered - a wheat beer or an APA. Went with wheat beer.
At first you get a lemonade with a little lemon zest taste. Then just a little blood orange kicks in. It’s very bitter and sour. Finishes dry with your mouth puckered up. Totally hides any other aspects of the beer.
This is just too lemon dominant. Drinks like a sour. More blood orange with less lemon would have helped this.
I was going to do a double up. I put the second one back as I don’t think I could stomach another one.
Canned 4/8/25.
Got the Gumballhead variety pack. I think the other 2 I have left will stay in the beer fridge for a long time.
Not a good beer night. Should have went with the IPA’s like I was thinking. Oh well😄
