Can design is simple but effective with a deep brown colour ale that looks delectable. This is immediately ruined by the sickly sweet aroma. First sip felt like someone punched me in the stomach. The deep, earthy flavour somehow winded me and I still don’t know how. Instead of a nice subtle hazelnut flavour it tastes like the tree bark from once it came. I had high hopes for this beer but I am now shattered and wondering where to go next. Extremely disappointing and would never drink again. Taste: 1/10 Appearance: 8/10 Aroma: 1/10 Mouthfeel: 2/10 Pizazz: 1/10

Syrupy with a slightly tart aftertaste, this is an interesting beer. Might be better with more carbonation and nitrogen infusion, as it pours rather flat.
