A weird, but not unpleasant hybrid between a dark lager and a porter. A nice smoky taste sits quite strangely with a light feel in the mouth and a little fizz.

Tastes a bit like a champagne pilsner I had recently. Quite sharp and fizzy although there is a good amount of pilsner earthiness to go with it. Just about rescued. Glad I halved the bottle with a friend though.
