Another Arkansas beer at Whiskey River Ranch. Winding down a hard work day watching tubers on the Guadalupe River. Deeper than normal color for an amber, orange brown with a minuscule amount of haze. Almost no carbonation. Pure malt aroma. First flavor to me is of sweet plums. Very low bitterness. Strong malt, like the inside of a malt ball. Finishes the same but has a very lingering dryness. A minute after the finish you feel like you need a drink of water it is so dry. I love Amber beers but this would never be one of my go-to beers. Unique but not my favorite.

At Whiskey River Ranch, almost all chores done to prepare for this weekend. Having another Austin Texas beer with my son-in-law. This sweet beer is totally clear, no haze whatsoever. Light yellow in color. Mild flavor that is mostly white grapes. Not getting any alcohol whatsoever and no bitterness at all. Reminds me of a breakfast juice. Would never have guessed this was a wheat beer. Good but not what you would expect in this category.

Not much of a fruity beer drinker, but very refreshing in the heat of the summer. Berry taste is not overwhelming.
