Happy QUADRUPEL DAY! It's still an unofficial celebration day for this noble beerstyle but why not!? The word 'quadrupel' refers to 'fourfold' or 'four times', that's why the Quadrupel Day falls on the 4/4. Clever, isn't it?  ✖️✖️✖️✖️ My quad wears a misty, deep dark brown gown. A cappuccino-colored foam looks velvety, with a few bubbles on the side and height of one finger. A dense lacing adorns the surface for a longer time. Syrup, gingerbread dough and caramel can be spotted in the air. The rest of the cocktail is composed of sweet dark malt, cacao nibs, dark plum and a dash of cinnamon. Quite attractive, promises a harmonious gustatory journey. Indeed, the flavor supply is lovely! I find syrup, gingerbread dough, cinnamon, cacao nibs, dark caramel, aniseed and dark plum. Really enjoyable. Alcohol is totally hidden here. The body is almost full. Okay, full. The finish carries the package almost unchanged to the end, the only noticeable difference is the dwindled sweetness. The appeal remains keen. The beer drops a full, soft, smooth, deep but also gentle as well as spiced sensation in the mouth. A well crafted piece, for sure. Experience speaks my language.

Très belle odeur, un peu déçu du gout. Pourtant sur la rouge et la rubus kaastel fait du bon boulot mais pour le coup celle là est décevante. Manque de goût, bon compromis entre sucre et amertume mais bon pour une bière sucrée c'est pas ce qui est attendu.

Une odeur très tropicale et assez sucrée mais un petit manque de quelque chose je trouve. Cependant je la trouve meilleure que les rouges habituelles de Kasteel

Une bière étonnante. Comment décrire... elle est douce et légèrement houblonnée au parfum et en bouche, elle est assez caractériel mais pourtant légèrement sucrée
