This is a strong saison from Spain (love a bit of onomatopoeia) It’s a very light yellow colour with an aroma of yeast, hay and grapes with a hint of stone fruits like peach and apricot. It’s certainly sour in the mouth but with a little sweetness in the finish. It feels fizzy in the mouth but doesn’t seem overly carbonated. There’s a flavour here I can’t quite put my finger on, it’s grapey, grassy, lemony and a little dry. It’s also over 6% but doesn’t taste it. This is an awesome saison.
